On December 21, 2024, Global Justice Voices (GJV) hosted its inaugural event, Leadership for Impact – Kenyan Youth Empowerment, under the inspiring theme: Local Innovation for Community Challenges – Nurturing Adaptive Leadership. The day brought together 10 dynamic youth leaders and passionate facilitators to explore how local innovation, adaptive leadership, and technology can drive impactful change in Kenya.
Empowering Leaders for Local Solutions
The event started with an engaging welcome session, introducing participants to GJV’s transformative mission. Originally launched as a podcast, GJV has grown into a movement dedicated to uplifting grassroots leaders and addressing critical barriers to equity and inclusion. Youth leaders were also introduced to the Young Professional Fellowship (YPF), a platform to foster professional growth, networking, and leadership skills.
